Users must use Afro Student Living lawfully, honestly, and responsibly. Users must not misuse the platform, submit false information, attempt fraud, interfere with the website, or use the platform for unlawful activity.
Students may be required to create an account, submit personal information, upload verification documents, and provide booking details before a booking request can be reviewed.
Afro Student Living reserves the right to request proof of university admission, enrollment, student identification, or other supporting documents before approving bookings.
Accommodation requests are subject to admin review, student verification, property availability, and platform approval before confirmation.
A booking request is not a final confirmed accommodation agreement until it has been reviewed and approved by Afro Student Living and any required payment or check-in process has been completed.
Payments should only be made through the official Afro Student Living payment process. Students should not make separate payments directly to landlords, property owners, or third parties unless officially instructed by Afro Student Living support.
When payment is completed, the payment may be held by Afro Student Living pending check-in confirmation or admin review. Release, refund, cancellation, or dispute decisions are handled according to Afro Student Living’s Booking Policy.
Afro Student Living may hold completed payments until check-in has been confirmed or until the booking has been reviewed by admin. A held payment does not automatically mean immediate release to the landlord or property owner.
Cancellation requests, no-show cases, delayed check-ins, refund requests, payment disputes, and property issues are reviewed according to Afro Student Living’s Booking Policy.
Property owners and landlords are responsible for ensuring listing accuracy, pricing transparency, accommodation availability, and the truthfulness of all property details submitted to Afro Student Living.
Afro Student Living may approve, reject, unpublish, edit, or remove property listings where needed for safety, accuracy, compliance, platform quality, or user protection.
Afro Student Living aims to display accurate property details. However, property information may be provided by landlords, property owners, or third parties. Students should review all property details carefully and contact support where clarification is needed.
Users are responsible for providing accurate information, checking booking details carefully, responding to communication from Afro Student Living, and following the correct booking, payment, and verification process.
